Exclude keywords or sites, and alternation.

Say I want to Search for ham radio sites I visited, but I want to exclude Facebook pages and Youtube videos. My first instinct is:

ham radio -facebook ham radio -site:facebook.com

But neither of these work. Similarly, Ham radio is also called Amateur radio, so I would like to find sites using the following keywords:

(ham|amateur) radio -site:facebook.com -site:youtube.com
