Video doesn't play after unlocking/switching apps

When a video is playing and then if I pause and do nothing for screen timeout (let TV automatically locks itself), when I unlock the TV and play back the video doesn't play. Not only when locking and unlocking the TV let's say if I go to the home by pressing the home button in the remote and then again going back anime TV app the playback doesn't play.

For the time being to solve the problem I am currently force stopping the app and then restart it, fixes the issue and plays very well no issues.
