Blocks appear as gray boxes

Just downloaded the app and started viewing the documentation, and noticed a few places where blocks are a large gray box, that send to go on forever. See to screenshots on my Android phone

Thanks for the report. That's very strange; I can't reproduce it on my Pixel 2.

The big gray blocks seem to indicate an exception happening during layout. The only thing I can think of that would make it happen to you but not me is a difference in screen width, maybe?

Can you let me know your

• your phone model (in particular so I can figure out your screen size)
• your OS version
• the app version

and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the response. The details of my phone are:

• Motorola moto e5 play
• Android version 8.0.0 (with the March 1st patch)
• App version is just the latest version, and I'm not sure where I can find the specific version within the app (perhaps you may want to add that)

Making the screen wider (by rotating) and shrinking the font didn't affect it.
