Can't hat WJoy to run on Mavericks, not even 0.7.1

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I tried to run WJoy 0.7.1 but all I get is a dialog asking for administrator
privileges. After that nothing else happens. The only thing indicating that
anything is running is a wjoy process in the activity monitor that uses 0 kb of
memory. Trying version 0.7.0 that is the first which said to have Mavericks
compatibility shows at least a menu bar icon, but the same dialog asking for
administrator privileges and after that the icon disappears.

I know this is supposed to be fixed in 0.7.1, but it seems it isn't...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WJoy 0.7.1, 0.7.0, 0.6.0, Mac OS x Mavericks

Having same issue but I dont get any dialogs. I click on the .dmg and nothing
happens. Not a jumping icon, not a screen, or errors, nothing... :(

Tried using 0.7.1 and Maveriks 10.9.4

Same, having an issue with wjoy on Mavericks (10.9.4). I downloaded the
program, and in trying to run the application, it asks me for my password to
allow changes and then the program closes instantly after I've typed the
password.
