It looks like the controller models are in SteamVR and can be seen when using the Pico 4 with Virtual Desktop for over a year now. I think we just have to tell steam that we're using the Pico 4 and it should change the controller models accordingly?

SteamVR uses string properties to tell the games which controller to use, but the only way of getting these strings is to decompile the drivers that support the Pico controllers
