Reconnect works without debug mode

Description of the problem

Reproduction steps

  • Disable debug on both sides
  • Connect to the server
  • Use reconnect command

Expected behaviour

Reconnection should only work when debug mode is enabled

Works as intended. Reconnect always worked with dev branch.
