Solarized interferes with bash functionality

Open hsoule opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

I'm using Tmux and Vim on a MacBook Air, OS X 10.11.3. I recently used Solarized and love the color scheme but every once in a while, Tmux becomes very buggy. Some errors I've noticed are that bash functions like clear are not working. Opening files in Vim in other cases sometimes changes or wipes out what's displayed on other windows in a Tmux session.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is and any help would be appreciated. In the example attached, the "clear" command is not working and switching to the leftmost window shows that for some reason, it is also lower down than it should be.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you!

You could try using the xterm-256color version (or changing Terminal.app's Preferences > Profiles > Advanced > Declare terminal as to xterm-256color). This solved a problem with Mutt for me.
