[Feature request] Add player selection for active or paused sources

I am comming from mpris-ctl, which works good enough, but I couldn't change the position of the track, so I want to migrate to this neat programm. Only feature I miss is the ability to have a stream on youtube (web browser) and let's say vlc play some music: I would stop one and play the other and would skip some part of the clip, but only the currently active source would skip, not the paused one. Maybe it would be easier to act this way by default (I suppose we don't skip parts of something we don't know of, because it is not playing).
