However, `org.apache.xmlgraphics:batik-dom:1.14` has dependency on `xalan:xalan:2.7.2` artefact so, we likely will not be able to get rid of xalan entirely.

size_unit for geom_text should take into account user specified label_format

IMO, better would be to have a parameter specifying number of symbols that constitute label taken as unit.
