Atom editor is being shut down - need to recommend new editor

What

Atom is being shut down December 15, 2022. We currently recommend it and provide instructions for it in our tutorial. We need to think about our response - probably to move to VSCode

Why

We shouldn't be telling people to use an unsupported editor.

If you switch to recommending VS Code, it might be worth telling Windows users how to set the terminal built in to VS Code to use Git Bash instead of PowerShell
