When used as a search bar like the govuk frontend documentation page the IOS keyboard 'go/search' button doesn't submit the form

We are currently using the latest version 3.0.1 however this has been reported as occurring in older versions.

To expand on this, from my testing this seems to be linked to the autoselect option. On iOs no option appears to be selected automatically while typing so pressing enter doesn't select anything causing the onconfirm method to not trigger
