Can’t access autocomplete input using Mac Voiceover modifier key + arrow keys (VO-Right Arrow)

When a user is navigating a form they can access the autocomplete input by tabbing. But, when a user navigates a form using VO-Right Arrow, for finer grained content navigation, they can’t access the autocomplete.

This is present on Mac OS as well. Whilst the user could switch to tabbing or access the field via the rotor, this presents a serious barrier / possibility for confusion to users.

Confirmed I can replicate this using this page in Safari, Mac Voiceover.

I'm going to tweak the issue title and description here as I believe the original poster meant to say 'Mac Voiceover' rather than 'iOS Voiceover' - I don't think this issue is possible on a mobile iOS device? Please add a comment with more replication steps if I've interpreted the issue wrongly though!

@vanitabarrett you are probably correct, but an iOS user can add an external keyboard and navigate that way, so once fixed it would be worth validating the fix is also present in iOS.
