emm... Actually Dicio uses the engine already in F-Droid. Should I ask F-Droid guys if this service is ready for F-Droid?

Dicio is a highly specialized program, for now it has no generic android speech recognition function.

It would be great to have Android speech-to-text provider for text input. I.e., pressing microphone in a on-screen keyboard may run VOSK instead of cloud service.

It seems, for now VOSK has no functionality of the stt provider.

Dicio now can recognize speech to plain text. Yet it surely doesn't work as a speech to text input service.

Interesting, new release was yesterday. Yes, this function was implemented there and can be used. So, closing this request.

However, if you sometimes will decide implementing standard STT android provider, it also will be very useful.

Vosk Android Service is fantastic, I also I'd like to see it in f-droid.. in the meanwhile I've build the latest apk if you are interested vas-arm64-v8a.apk.zip

vas-armeabi-v7a.apk.zip

PS: remove/rename the .zip it's just an .apk
