I had Trakt integration using the Kodi plugin https://kodi.tv/addon/program-add-ons-scripts/trakt, although I don't really use it anymore. Is this useful for the use case you want to accomplish?

I mean to use Trakt as ShowRSS. Right now you use ShowRSS as the source to know which series to download, but Trakt can do the same and would work with movies too, which would be great.
