@searls It seems to be something to do with the SPDY protocol (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPDY), but I'm running the same OS version with no problems. I'll look into it.

@searls that would make sense – from Googling around, it appears that the problem is normally linked to a proxy disallowing the SPDY protocol
