bleed bot has a highlight feature that will send you a DM whenever a highlighted word is mentioned in the server

A simple and lightweight event listener for peruser highlights

i will work on this but im waiting for the finishing and release of v0.1.0

the database will be required for it to be peruser i believe so hence the wait for v0.1.0

also another note is to ensure that the person can actually see the channel before sending a notification (so it doesn't leak like mod chats)

i think another good check if seeing if the user has chatted in the channel within the last 25 messages, if they have then dont send the highlight (maybe configurable idk)
