DW01A OC connection to MOSFET gate

Hi,

in the DW01A data sheet it is recommended to connect OC and OD directly to the MOSFET gates of the FS8205. See an example here: https://de.slideshare.net/slideshow/schematiccharger-tp405620230417pdf/257456761

So why you decided to make a different approach?

Btw. why a power flag is needed between the DW01A and the FS8205?

Hello, 1)in the DW01A data sheet it is recommended to connect OC and OD directly to the MOSFET gates of the FS8205.

-They are connected exactly like in datasheet.

  • Zero value resistor is neede to fix crossing wires. its just faster and simpler to solder 1206 resistor than drill two holes and place wire there.
  1. why a power flag is needed between the DW01A and the FS8205? -its just virtual thing required by kicad.
