Feature Request : add an option to exclude domain from referrer

Open lord-re opened this issue 3 years ago • 5 comments

The Referrers URL panel is mostly full of your own domain. An option to exclude domains would help a lot.

Hi @lord-re.

You can use some tool for filtering like a AWK, SED, PYTHON or another that you have mastered. Remember that a site can be accessed too through others like google.

I could also use this filtering to display stats and all… that's not the point.

Please try:

--ignore-referer=<NEEDLE> - Ignore a referer from being counted. Wild cards are allowed. i.e., *.bing.com

It doesn't seem to change : https://lord.re/tmp/ignore-referer.png

The left one is with --ignore-referer=lord.re (shouldn't this option be named --ignore-refeRRer ?

I do have the same issue.

In my configuration file:

ignore-referrer *.my-domain.*
ignore-referrer *.my-domain.at
ignore-referrer *.my-domain.at*
ignore-referrer *.My-Domain.at*

... has no effect on the sections of Referrer URLs with version 1.5.2. Therefore, my referrer section is dominated by my own pages in the live-view which basically kills the feature for me.
