automated QR code and tag detection not working

Describe your issue here. I don't see the automated QR code detection working for the note pdf with tags preseet. I get the automated pdf scanned in and detected correctly for the page edges, but the QR code remains there and no tags or metadata attached to it.

Steps to reproduce

An installation on Android 9.0 on Redmi 6 Pro phone, installed via fdroid

Expected behaviour

QR code doest get realized.

Actual behaviour

should get the QR code and understand the page number etc. out of it.

Would you like to work on the issue?

I have no exposure to Android coding, but i do have some fair amount of exposure to programming. Might need too long to fix this myself.
