People who join later then the video has started cannot see anything
Hi There, I tried to pull a request but meh GitHub?!
Anyway, if someone joins the server after the screen content has been started they get a black screen, my quick and dirty solution now is going to the settings pane of a screen to change nothing and save it. That makes it reload and continuing from the same play head position. Then new joined people get to see and hear stuff.
But can you maybe make it so that the screen's automatically do that or similar trick? Or any other method or solution to solve this? It's kinda too bad that peeps don't see or hear a thing when they join, since we use some hidden screens for music! ;-).

Which version are you using? The sync feature was already implemented long ago, and so far there was no issue reported. But the state handling logic was re-written from scratch in 1.9.0, could you please test if the issue persists with version 1.9.0?

I can also confirm this issue ( 1.9.0 ). I started up a video using my desktop computer, and then joined on my laptop. Desktop is playing and the laptop is not. When I run /hypnonema, it shows the video as ended on both computers, but the desktop is still playing the youtube video. Re-adding the URL and starting the video makes both computers show the video just fine.
It appears to end/stop runnning after a certain amount of time (15 minutes or so? The current video is a live video and stopped around 15 minutes). If you hit the refresh button, it shows the current time increasing but the status says ended, whether or not the video is playing.
Also tested further ( 1.9.0 ) by starting a non-live video, and then immediately joining on my laptop. Black screen, so for what it's worth, I can confirm this bug on 1.9.0.
The screen remained black on my laptop until I restarted the video or picked a new URL. Updating the screen, changing the volume, etc did not bring the video up.
I’ve stopped using this resource for a long time ago. It sucks, and is bad for players. I can advise to switch to pmms instead of this thing.
Updated to the version 1.9.1 and the bug is still there, even trying @ShaAlexander dirty solution isn't working for me, all I get its a muted black screen after re-joining.
