Change to new shields badge

Open JoeIzzard opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

I posted an issue related to this on the main all-contributors repo, however it seems this is where the badge originates. Relevant Issues:

  • all-contributors/all-contributors#361 - New Badge Style Preventing Inline Badge
  • all-contributors/all-contributors#406 - Change to new badge

I have just had a PR deployed for a custom badge for all-contributors, which is now live meaning we can move away from the current method of manually updating them, or using the dynamic shield to have it automatic. Below is an example if the new badge, and the URL for it. As always it supports full customisation.

All Contributors Badge

https://img.shields.io/github/all-contributors/*user*/*repo*/*branch*

Branch is optional, and will simply default to the master branch if it is not specified.

so essentially all that you is required is deploying a permissible SCript and altering the display badge? And avoid pre-established ID?
