BUG: Weird things happening in the order of references added to a post

Describe the bug See screenshot, Reference #2 (an example of thought leadership) was originally inserted as the last reference. However, when saving the post, Reference #2 and #3 swap positions.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: ??? Not sure why this is happening/how to reproduce

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

Expected behavior Reference to remain in the position where it was added
