Description

As part of our platform enhancement, we aim to simplify the initial setup process for spaces and subspaces. Currently, users face varying configurations when creating different types of spaces. To streamline this experience, we propose implementing hardcoded templates for common space and subspace types. With this enhancement, users will be able to choose their desired type during creation, ensuring that all relevant settings and features are immediately configured according to their selection.

Goal

By implementing these changes, we aim to enhance user productivity, reduce setup time, and provide a consistent experience across different space types.

Must have scope

• [ ] Template Selection: Users can select a predefined template (e.g., “Project Space,” “Team Collaboration Space,” “Knowledge Base Space”) when creating a new space or subspace.
• [ ] Automatic Configuration: Upon template selection, the system will automatically configure permissions, access controls, default widgets, and relevant integrations based on the chosen type.
