Request to add TvTime service

Open djrfjr1 opened this issue 9 months ago • 8 comments

Describe the feature

I would like two-way sync with TvTime to be added to Syncribullet.

SyncriBullet Version is up to date:

Not currently using it but have in the past and would consider re-using it if TvTime could be integrated.

Ok, that's too bad.

@djrfjr1 done I think. Feel free to test... I don't know how well it works with big catalogs. Sync "should" also work. If ok I'll close this issue.

I will need a day or so to test it.

TLDR Movies sync, shows don't.

I have given it a go. Movies sync fine, both ways, although syncing completed movies to TVTime seemed to take a little while, a few minutes between watching it and it showing up as complete. That is no big issue.

Tvshows though do not sync at all. I get a message on Stremio saying "The content did not load, error occured".

Note that I got that a couple of times for movies too, I had to uninstall the add-on or do a erase all data for Stremio for it to work again. This was all done on a guest account on Stremio.

Now, I also get that error message when logged in into Stremio and trying to use the add-on. The first couple of times the plug-in would only work if I was logged in as guest. Whenever I logged in with my account it would break (same error message). Somehow finally it did work (still only for movies).

I install the add-on by following your link on Github and logging in with my TVTime credentials. I leave the general settings (where it asks for a manifest url) blank as I do not know what to fill in there. Nor do I know what "External playback" is for. If I am doing anything wrong here please let me know.

I'd like you to know there is no rush on this. You mentioned TVTime's API being a mess, maybe that's the problem. In any case, no hurry and thanks.

Just tested shows and syncing...

Content indeed takes time to reload on stremio. So that should be fine.

Example: White lotus s3e4 worked.

@djrfjr1 can you tell me what show+episode it was? Anime by chance?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I just went to Stremio and saw that my shows are showing up and categorised properly (watching, planning to watch). But episodes watched do not sync although I have them ticked in the TVTime app, or when I mark them as watched in Stremio. I will give it some time, maybe there just is a delay.

There are just two shows currently on my TVTime list. One is a French TV show that I am watching called "La peste" and also "Shogun" that I plan to watch.

You can close this if you'd like, I think this is working well enough for me, and thank you for making this work!

I think this can be closed. If I made a mistake reopen.
