Options don't work

As soon as I enable the "0 is closed" option, every setting I try to input results in a misconfigured node error. If I don't use the channel feature, it I leave it empty, it also shows a configure error, it doesn't even use its own defaults.

Is this project abandoned?

Can anybody tell me where those validation checks are made?

I'm lost.
