Affixed <select> changes on scroll

I'm trying to have the affixed header include an HTML select box. When I select an option (other than the first item) and then scroll, the select reverts back to the initial option. If you scroll back to the top of the list, the select changes back to what it should have been set to.

This project is not maintained anymore. We cancelled our free-time hobby project with Ionic because of too much changed recently in our personal lives and we don't have enough time at all.

I would be happy to reference anyone who would fork the project and maintain it.
