srsUE is still a prototype after several years.

Since a few weeks, OAI NR UR has now a dedicated roadmap, but does not yet support external USIM via PCSC, ...

There are also some initiatives about FPGA 5G PHY.

Isn't it time to have a better collaborative approach in the goal of creating a rich and versatile open source / hardware 5G NR UE supporting use cases from design and simulation to labs and production.
