You cannot just expect xformers to apply by just installing. To use xformer you have to 'hack' the model in code. If you want, you can check out https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui
How to install optional deps? ```uv pip install xxx@./xxx[yy]``` dont work and says Distribution not found
Have you tried the proposed solution of using symlinks? This should only be reopened if that does not work.
I dont know because I have not tried and I don't use colab, but those with this need should try themselves and report if its not possible.

@OccultMC this issue should be fixed now, try to reclone and repo and redo the venv setup
Connect to a new instance (not restart kernel), and rerun the same code again
I do not see any difference on my 3080Ti with xformers
