iphone 12 max pro rear camera sensor width?

Open akssieg opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

How to determine the camera sensor width of iphone 12 max pro? I checked at link and it is mentioned that it has 1.7um pixel size and 4032 x 3024 pixels image resolution. So should I assume the camera width to be 1.7 x 4032 / 1000 = 6.85 mm ? @remmel @natowi

The iPhone 12 max Pro has a 1/1.9" sensor according to https://www.dpreview.com/articles/6780391159/all-apple-iphone-13-and-13-pro-camera-upgrades-explained (there is a section for 12) which would approximate to 6.74 - so your calculations are more precise :).
