Duet songs show a black area instead of the melody graph for singer 2
Performous & operating system versions
Performous 1.3.0-45-gcb10e1c6 (latest master) OS: Debian 12.2
Also tested with the latest CI build.
What is the problem?
When playing a duet song for two singers, the notes for the second singer (bottom) don't appear. The lyrics are shown, but the area where the note graph should be is only a black background. Solo songs work correctly.
Tested in window mode and fullscreen. Tested on two computers, one with Nvidia RTX 2070 Super and official drivers, the other with AMD Ryzen 5 5500U integrated Radeon graphics and Mesa drivers.
Steps to reproduce
- Start Performous.
- Setup two microphones.
- Play and select a duet song.

I removed $HOME/.cache/performous several times and still the same.
A better screenshot:
Maybe also related to texture pr? It was still working at commit: 37b1f760269a9348bc9186667c49b1ab037eab57
Your screenshot doesn't look exactly like my issue. There's at least lines displayed and only the bars look black. In my screenshot the whole area looks black. It might be the same underlying issue but the result is a bit different.
Can you share the txt file for this song so we can test the same song:)?
@berarma still the same here
Do note i don't have the original video. It looks like it's not in a good aspect ratio since it's all black in there...
which theme are you using? The default one or the new performous+ one?
I'm using the default theme. I've tried with the other themes and it's the same.
I've noticed it works well in some songs. When the second voice starts singing before the first one, the graphics look good.
This one seams to be related to the texture management too. It should be fixed in #955.
