GoblinOne.otf does not include some characters from Czech and Slovak

supplied GoblinOne.otf font does not cover a range of characters used in Czech an Slovak. in effect the graphical output is not satisfactory: obrazok note how characters such as ŕ, ľ, ď, č, ň, ž or ť are rendered this is the source lyrics:

well, at leats it's falling back to a font that does support it. I suggest we make the font part of the theme, this way you can supply your own font for your own language.

i am not a friend of such proposal. consistency is a good thing and mixing content and look is generally discouraged anyway. i'd like to see a universal font covering extended latin instead. maybe someone has a tip for similarly looking font with better glyph coverage.

TBH I'm not a fan of GoblinOne so I agree with @nieknooijens.

On the other hand, if you can find a better font that looks good... 🤷🏼‍♂️

the problem here is that there isn't a single font that covers everything. unifont comes pretty close but still lacks heroglyphs and some emoji. plus unifont looks like shit. We can probably use a font that covers extended latin and cyrillic alphabets, but then we still need to fall back to other fonts like Takao minochi for Japanese, korean and chinese. see this isn't really solvable!

sure, one decent looking font covering everything (though i cannot really imagine someone singing rules or hieroglyphs) is a missing impossible. but then i believe it would make a huge difference already if the character fallback mechanism occur as little as possible. i wonder how frequently latin alphabet mixes with japanese characters in song lyrics for instance. my bet is that it either do not happen too often or they're somewhat used to it (as the fonts are of totally different families).

one other suggestion is: scan the whole lyrics at start, count how many times the replacement character would not to be retrieved and if it's above a threshold call load a substitute font and use it for the whole song.

oh believe me it happens more than you think. like 80% of Japanese songs dump some English words in there because it's "cool" (it isn't -_- ). and even though it are completely different families it's still weird that the stroke width varies between them. but TBH, I've learned to live with it.

scanning the whole song and swapping the font accordingly doesn't fully solve it either, and swapping fonst constantly will cause a lot of inconsistencies in visuals between songs. I don't know, but I think it's kinda weird to be on an event and have the font change every 2 or 3 songs.
