Folder title used to have a max size of 32 characters, but I removed that restriction a long time ago.

For notes, I don't see a reason to restrict the amount of text.

As for labels, It could be maxed out at 16 characters.

Woah, gentlemen, 16 for titles is far to restrictive!! And for the layout, things could be solved with soft limitations, I. e. not restrict fields but limit the space an element is allowed to claim.
