Maintenance status

What is the maintenance status of the project? The project seems lacking active maintenance and I would like to propose few things:

  • refresh CI/CD pipelines and assure good platform and python coverage (py39!)
  • invite more maintainers
  • consider moving under a non-personal github organization in order to make its future not depend on a single individual
