What about adding suggested pairings to the font catalogue? Your could have a little voting system for users, or anyone who considers they’re an expert could add them with GitHub.

One of the best things about Brick is that it is exclusive; it doesn't have (many) low quality fonts, and it had just enough good type families that you can find something that fits the mood of your project.

However, because it is small, some of the normal pairings aren’t available; if there were pairing between Brick fonts suggested, then users will be less likely to switch to another font service to get their preferred pairing with a font that brick already has.

This would be great! It could just be as simple as adding another line of metadata to the YAML matter. How do you think the voting system could be implemented, though? Perhaps through issues?

You use something custom (there must be a PHP voting script out there), or just use issues and polls — maybe something like this poll for Alegreya Pairings to easily find what people think are the best x number of pairings.
