Ability to reduce number of languages in language selection

I love code-blocks. Perfect. However, my documents contain a wide variety of languages and I find myself switching between different languages for formatting. In my domain, I use Python, Shell, Java and JavaScript. When I pull-down the languages, I am presented with a wonderfully rich set of choices. My desire would be an option where I can restrict the set of languages presented to me for every-day use to a subset of the available possible languages. This would improve my workflow as I would then not have to search as hard to select the desired language when I change language.

An idea to address this is to put the user's top N most recently used languages at the top of the list.
