I don't think I'm understanding this request fully. When I pulled the code down it didn't do what I expected. Can you please explain the use case in a little more detail?

I merged in functionality that I think resolves this issue. Check out the new version under it's new name: https://www.npmjs.com/package/vue-typeahead-bootstrap
