Goto line doesn't work in visual mode

[count] G will move the caret to line [count], but in visual mode, it will always go to the end of file.

What do you mean, "In visual mode?" Because I observe something different, which may or may not be a separate bug:

If you hit 1G, it goes to the end of the file. But if you hit any other number... 2G, 3G, 500G, it goes to the line number correctly.
