Duplicate of #1075 or just related? I prefer the auto solution because with rare event dates there might be several months you'd have to skip through without available dates. Optimum would be a backend setting how to handle this. ;-)

Yes those two issues are actually related.

I think it's better to go to the first month that has an available date, but if there are more than X months of unavailability then we should show some message.

I'll keep both tickets in this milestone for extra clarity.
