Subdirectories Keep Reappearing When Deleted

I'm running MeTube as a container, and the output template is set to %(channel)s/%(title)s [%(id)s].%(ext)s.

However, when I delete one of the subfolders in the /downloads folder, they reappear shortly afterwards.
