Hello, not sure if it will be supported here or in shelly NG project.

Thanks for the reply, btw I've already sold them, because I was not able to integrate them into homekit.

Any Update on this topic. Does anyone know how to add device to the wishlist to add support for it?

@valfr can you please share your solution in detail? Will help many of us who don't know how to connect Shelly H&T Plus to HomeKit (via Homebridge). Thnx! David

Are there no plans to integrate the device into HB? I think it's good, but if it doesn't work with Homebridge, it's worthless to me.

Regarding the MQTT solution. I also did it and it works fine.

You need a mqtt broker first, e.g. mosquitto as Docker Container. You can then configure your Shelly plus HT to send it’s state to that broker. Then you need MQTTthings plugin for Homebridge. There you can configure the mqtt broker and add a new device that is polling the data of the Shelly from the broker. Et voilà. The Shelly appears in Hombridge.

Of course it is more complicated to set things up that way but it works as expected.

that seems too complicated. Unfortunately, I don't have Docker on my Synology and therefore can't seem to install an MQTT broker.

@Tdie88 how do you run homebridge? On a RPi? If so, you could host mqtt there.

jeloneal avatar Jan 05 '23 11:01 jeloneal

@jeloneal no on Synology NAS. But on my device i can't run Docker

@Tdie88 https://gist.github.com/dresende/be8a96b5d885330f04e4e368656440ca That's what I found regarding installing mqtt on Synology without Docker. Maybe it helps...
