Store as ordinary bookmark folder

When you store a link for reading later, can you store it as an ordinary bookmark in a specific subfolder? Or is there any specific data to store, that cannot be retrieved from a bookmark again?

This would have multiple positive side-effects:

• compatibility (e.g. migrate old bookstack https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/bookstack)
• management (there is already a bookmarks-editor), I could manually rename the folders and thereby switch between multiple reading lists
• suggestions in the awesome-bar
