Motionless homepage support

I've recently shared futurecoder in a group chat and someone got surprised with the sudden warpspeed starfield motion effects in the homepage. It may need to be more friendly to visitors with vestibular motion disorders. Let's think about ways to make the experience better for them.

Technically, we could remove the canvas depending on the prefers-reduced-motion media query. In practice, I think that a lot of users who wouldn't want to see the motion may have the option not set to reduce, which disqualifies this idea.

A solution I'm thinking of is to lower the speed of the animation drastically, disable the animation at all (but leave the starfield background, just frozen) or remove the canvas with the starfield entirely.
