Finish Spanish (Latin American) translation
The Spanish translation has been complete for a while: https://es-latam.futurecoder.io/course/
But it still needs a full proofreading. This means actually going through every step in the course, checking all the hints, and submitting code according to the instructions. It's easy for everything to look OK when actually some small translation mismatch means that apparently correct code doesn't pass the automatic checker. But there could also be typos and other mistakes that I have no way of detecting myself.
Finishing this would be incredibly valuable as it would allow announcing the Spanish translation publicly and linking to it from the English and French sites.
This issue is no longer just about proofreading as a significant amount of new content has been added that needs translation.
Hi! I see two spanish translations: 'es' and 'es-latam'. Which one is the deployed at http://es.futurecoder.io/ ?
http://es.futurecoder.io/ is 'es' (European Spanish) and is complete, although it also needs some proofreading. In particular the page on single and double quotes is broken.
https://es-latam.futurecoder.io/ (not visible in the language menu from the other sites) is 'es-latam', which in POEditor is Spanish (AR). It needs more translation.
I'm using the European Spanish version with 10th graders. I'll tell the students to report me any issues. I've tested the page on single and double quotes but can't see how to fix it. Maybe some invisible character using copy and paste?
There was a problem on the page about quotes, and the original translator didn't reply about fixing it. I ended up fixing it with some help from Google translate, and then forgot that I had done that which is why I said it was broken. It's still worth proofreading to make sure that the grammar is OK and everything makes sense.
I've tested the page on single and double quotes but can't see how to fix it.
Do you mean that you couldn't see anything wrong, or that you encountered a problem but don't know the cause?
Sorry for the delayed response. I don't see anything wrong (reproducible at least). I'll concentrate in proofreading.
