This hasn't worked in a while and is no longer worth maintaining, I should really update documentation and such.

Curious why you decided to stop maintaining this. Was it a one-time experiment? Or the rate of changes and proprietary nature of IntelliJ make the effort not gratifying?

The whole project turned out to be way more effort in the first place than I'd initially expected, without much return on the investment.
