Add Material Design support and additional UI configuration settings

Included new Material Design template, triggered by inclusion of 'dms-md' attribute. Also added 4 new options (see updated README.md).

Please note, I haven't updated the .min.js file... all attempts have resulted in errors when trying to use it... not sure what the problem is!

Thanks @johnrix I'll have a look at this in a few days once I'm through with final exams for the semester! I can probably add a gulp task for minification to make that work.
