Spotify Mac Remote is a plugin for Spotify that allows you to use your Mac’s IR remote control to play, pause and change tracks.
Spotify 1.0.36.124.g1cba1920 does not allow the plugin to load since it says it hasn't been tested with that version. Probably applies to many other versions too.
After I downloaded and installed it, it said that Spotify does not support the add. I uninstalled it as explained. Now, everytime I want to open Spotify, my Mac shuts...

After I installed SpotifyMacRemote my remote stopped working with Keynote.
It would be great if you can add this feature, not sure if Spotify provides API for it though.
