The latest maintainer commit happens on 2023-08-06, that is d81697e.

An inquiry from the GNOME team to update Plots to GNOME 44 has been ignored, see https://gitlab.gnome.org/Teams/Circle/-/issues/223#note_2111400. Consequently Plots was removed from GNOME Circle.

Issues and PRs are piling up.

Plots is an amazing app and I'd really love to see it back in GNOME Circle. So, if some somebody steps up to take the torch, this would be great.

@bugaevc, @janopae, @Kimiblock, @ColinKinloch: Perhaps one of you PR authors are willing to adopt the project?

@alexhuntley: Please apologize in case my approach is inappropriate and too brisk from your point of view. If you have others ideas how to keep the project up: Go ahead!

Note: Aside from the GL issue, it still works perfectly fine and I'm still packaging plots for a third party Arch Linux repo, archlinuxcn with the patch.

I don't have the capacity to maintain it single-handedly, but I could co-maintain it with others.
