Summary

First noticed this on the standard Salesforce data table component. However the same behaviour is occurring on the custom Datatable component. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this on the standard component prior to latest release, but unsure of the behaviour on the custom Datatable component.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Search for a record in the Datatable component, then select one or more records.
  2. Clear the Search field or Search for another record.
  3. The original selection is no longer retained.

Expected behaviour

Expectation is that the selections are retained

Actual behaviour

Selections are not retained and deselected
