Hey @johnlim, thanks for raising. Can you add the configuration for the function that's subscribed to the `user.created` event? That should help with debugging.

@jmacmullin What version of the Framework are you using (`sls version`)? I believe that was fixed in [this PR](https://github.com/serverless/serverless/commit/776832d10f7ad27dea7c6bb1926eea8dcfcea337), which was part of the 1.15 release.
