Git blame doesn't show correctly with uncommitted changes

If you're editing a file (maybe only longer files), the git blame lines don't match up. In the screenshot provided, you can see from the green line on the left, I've created lines 295-299, but they have blame output alongside them and lines 280-284 which I haven't touched don't have blame output.

#31 will make the blame view accurate for saved files, which is most of the way there. #2 is about making it update in real time.

Given #2 and #31 exist, I think this is probably a dupe of both of them. Is there reason to keep this issue open @andyjeffries or do you think the other ones cover it?

My only concern is this was a saved file with the blame view not showing. I then activated the blame view and it wasn't correct. So I don't know if it's the same issue as those other two (which seem to be about live updating or updating on save, this was already saved before blame came in to the picture).

Seems it could be explained by #3 also.

Do you have steps to reproduce this issue?

Maybe. At the moment I'm on a large merge, next time I start writing code I'll have another go and let you know if I can easily reproduce.
